The Nairobi River Life Project is part of the broader Nairobi River Regeneration Project by UNHabitat aimed at reclaiming and transforming Nairobi River into a beautiful, accessible public space with walking and cycling infrastructure along its corridors.
Since cyclists are meant to be one of the beneficiaries of this project it was therefore very important to get their feedback during the conceptual and planning stages of the project.
Critical Mass Nairobi being the largest convener of cyclists in Kenya was called upon to support the project in designing the survey tools and as well as collecting cyclists feedback for the project. The stakeholder engagement approach chosen allowed raw and unfiltered data to be collected.
